11:08 AM EST, 11/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Barrick Mining ( B ) shares rose over 5% Monday after the company said it reached an agreement with the Government of Mali resolving all disputes tied to the Loulo and Gounkoto mines.
All charges against the company, its affiliates, and employees will be dropped, and steps will be taken to release four detained employees, according to a statement.
The provisional administration of the Loulo-Gounkoto complex will end, and operational control will return to Barrick, the company said.
Barrick said it will withdraw arbitration claims pending before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes.
