Barrick posts fall in third-quarter gold production

Oct 16 (Reuters) - Canadian miner Barrick Gold's ( GOLD )

third-quarter gold production fell marginally over the

previous three months on Wednesday, pressured by lower output at

its mines.

The company's total preliminary output fell to 943,000

ounces of gold in the July-September period, compared with

948,000 ounces in the preceding quarter.
