08:06 AM EDT, 07/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Bausch Health Companies ( BHC ) reported Friday two new appointments to its executive leadership team.

Bausch appointed Jean-Jacques Charhon as CFO, effective Aug. 19. He has over 25 years of experience in financial leadership roles with public and private companies across healthcare, high tech and services, the company said.

Aimee Lenar also joined Bausch as executive vice president for the company's US Pharma segment. Bausch said Lenar has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently as head of US prescription medicine at Galderma.

"They are both proven leaders bringing extensive experience and expertise to their respective roles that will drive our transformation and achieve our ambition to be a globally integrated and innovative healthcare company," CEO Thomas Appio said.

Bausch's share price fell 3.1% yesterday to $10.12 on the TSX.
