Baxter CEO José Almeida to retire

Feb 3 (Reuters) - Medical products maker Baxter

International ( BAX ) said on Monday that its chief executive

officer José Almeida will retire effective immediately, after

nearly a decade in his current position.

Almedia will serve in an advisory capacity through Oct. 31,

2025, the company said.
