Baxter International's Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Increase

07:49 AM EDT, 08/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Baxter International ( BAX ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $0.68 per diluted share, up from $0.66 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.66.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $3.81 billion, compared with $3.71 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $3.75 billion.

The company expects full-year 2024 adjusted earnings of $2.93 to $3.01 per diluted share, up from $2.88 to $2.98 previously. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $2.92.

The company expects Q3 adjusted earnings of $0.77 to $0.79 per diluted share. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $0.74.

Baxter's share rose almost 4% during recent premarket activity on Tuesday.
