07:43 AM EST, 02/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Baxter International ( BAX ) reported Q4 adjusted earnings from continuing operations Thursday of $0.58 per diluted share, down from $0.65 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.52.
Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $2.75 billion, compared with $2.73 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.67 billion.
For Q1, the company expects adjusted diluted EPS to be in the range of $0.47 to $0.50 on sales growth of 3% to 4%. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $0.50 earnings on sales of $2.63 billion.
The company said it expects 2025 adjusted diluted EPS of $2.45 to $2.55 on sales growth of 5% to 6%. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $2.46 earnings on sales of $11.22 billion.
Shares of Baxter were up more than 6% in recent premarket activity.
