Baylin Completes Sale of Mobile and Network Business Unit; Names Clifford Gary as CFO

10:27 AM EST, 12/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Baylin Technologies ( BYLTF ) on Tuesday said it completed the sale of its Mobile and Network business unit, comprised of Galtronics Korea and Galtronics Vietnam, to a strategic buyer from Korea, and also named a new chief financial officer.

"The sale will allow the Company to focus on its remaining core businesses - Embedded Antenna and Wireless Infrastructure under the Galtronics name and Satellite Communications under the Advantech name," said Baylin ( BYLTF ) Chief Executive Leighton Carroll.

The company also appointed Clifford Gary as its new chief financial officer, replacing Dan Nohdomi, who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities. Gary, who is currently the vice president finance of the company, will be appointed CFO effective Jan 1, 2025.

Shares of the company have edged down $0.005 to $0.375 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
