07:32 AM EDT, 03/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Baylin Technologies ( BYLTF ) , after markets closed on Wednesday, reported revenue which fell in the fourth quarter.
Fourth-quarter revenue was reported at C$18.2 million compared to $20.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2024. The company said that the decrease in the fourth quarter of 2025 was due to lower sales volume in the Embedded Antenna and Satcom business lines.
The company reported fourth-quarter net loss from continuing operations of $2.5 million compared to net loss from continuing operations of $4.9 million in the corresponding year-ago quarter.
"The net loss in the fourth quarter of 2024 included an impairment charge of $2.6 million for Satcom business line," said the company.
On a per share basis, fourth-quarter net loss from continuing operations was reported at $0.02 per share compared to a net loss from continuing operations of $0.03 per share in the year-ago quarter.
Fourth-quarter net loss was reported at $2.5 million, compared to net loss of $1.2 million in the year-ago quarter. Net loss per share for the quarter was reported at $0.02 per share, compared with a breakeven in the year-ago quarter.
"Based on our current assessment of each business unit, we expect the Company's performance in 2026 will be mainly driven by: (i) sales volume increases from new and existing customers in the Embedded Antenna business line; (ii) continuing strength in sales and gross margin in the Wireless Infrastructure business line; and, (iii) lower sales but leaner operations and improved cost structure in the Satcom business line," stated the company.
The company further said that it continues to take "proactive steps to monitor and mitigate" the effect of US tariffs across all its business lines.
It further said that Embedded Antenna is "currently not directly affected" by US tariffs on China.
