05:36 AM EDT, 03/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Baytex Energy Corp ( BTE ) said late Thursday it priced a private placement of $575 million principal amount of 7.375% senior unsecured notes due 2032 at 99.266% of par value.

Net proceeds will be used for debt repayments and general corporate purposes.

The offering, which has been upsized from $500 million, is expected to close on April 1, subject to customary closing conditions.
