Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Indian startups have the same level of self-confidence as displayed by Indian athletes and sportspersons at Tokyo Olympics.

Besides market leader Kellogg’s, home-grown Indian companies like Marico, MTR, Tata and Nestle India have added ready-to-cook upma mixes, masala oats, idli, dosa and chilla mixes to cash in on the lockdown-induced trend.

Lenskart has been aggressively hiring across verticals, especially the tech and data science team, roping in data scientists, business analysts, data engineers, and experts, a statement said. The company is looking to add 1,500 more retail employees "to manage their rapidly increasing stores" and over 100 engineers to the technology team across Bengaluru, NCR, and Hyderabad, it added.

Announcing its new business strategy The New Equation', PwC India said the firm will also increase its campus hiring by over five times in the same time period. The New Equation is based on analysis of trends and thousands of conversations with clients and stakeholders, it said in a release.
