BBVA Research Notes Argentina's July Inflation Is At Year Low

08:54 AM EDT, 08/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Argentina's July national inflation was, as expected, the lowest of the year at 4.0% m/m and 263.4% y/y, and was in line with market forecasts, said BBVA Research.

Core inflation was 3.8% m/m and 257.9% y/y, remaining at this level for the third consecutive month. It had been 3.7% m/m in May and June.

BBVA Research set a downward bias to its current 135% y/y forecast for annual inflation in 2024.
