06:49 AM EDT, 08/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Bedford Metals ( URGYF ) said Monday that it has sent 60 samples from its exploration program at the Ubiquity Lake uranium project in Athabasca, Canada, for Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) analysis.
The analytical technique measures trace elements with high precision by converting a sample into an ionized state. The ions are extracted into the mass spectrometer, where they are separated based on their mass-to-charge ratios and quantified.
The company will incorporate the results into the planning and execution of the next exploration phase at the Ubiquity Lake uranium project.
"These results will be crucial in guiding our next steps as we outline the upcoming exploration program at Ubiquity Lake," Bedford President Peter Born said.
