Bengaluru hotel association accuses SoftBank-backed Oyo Hotels of fraud

SoftBank-backed Oyo Hotels and Homes is facing trouble in Bengaluru market after Bruhat Bengaluru Hotels Association accused it of cheating and fraud.

The hotel association has written a letter to the Karnataka government accusing Oyo of falsifying booking data and withholding payments.

However, Ritesh Agarwal-founded hospitality firm said that no formal complaint has been lodged against the company and the letter to Karnataka government is written by three individuals, not by Oyo hotel owners.
