05:39 PM EST, 11/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Berkshire Hathaway's ( BRK/A ) (BRK.B) chairman of the board and chief executive officer, Warren Buffett, has converted 1,800 A shares into 2.7 million B shares, worth $1.34 billion based on Monday's closing price, for donation to four family foundations.

The Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation received 1.5 million shares, while The Sherwood, Howard Buffett, and NoVo Foundations each received 400,000.

Buffett, 95, also announced he is stepping down from writing Berkshire's annual report and annual meeting leadership, reaffirming Greg Abel as the next CEO at year-end.
