07:10 AM EDT, 10/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A, BRK.B) sold an additional 9.6 million common shares of Bank of America ( BAC ) in three transactions, according to a filing late Monday.

The filing showed that Berkshire Hathaway sold 302,604 common shares of Bank of America ( BAC ) at $39.25 apiece last Thursday, 5.2 million shares at $40.04 apiece last Friday, and 4.1 million shares at $40.05 apiece on Monday.

According to the filing, following the transactions, Berkshire Hathaway retained about 784.5 million common shares of Bank of America ( BAC ).
