07:09 AM EDT, 08/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A) offloaded almost 14 million Bank of America ( BAC ) shares for around $550 million, a regulatory filing showed on Monday.

The sales took place on Thursday, Friday, and Monday at an average price of around $39.50 per share.

Berkshire Hathaway sold 5,183,829 shares on Thursday at a price of around $39.31 per share, followed by sale of 3,750,096 more shares on Friday and 5,035,018 shares on Monday at a price of around $39.27 and $39.65, respectively.

Berkshire now holds 928 million Bank of America ( BAC ) shares worth nearly $37 billion, according to Barron's.
