05:19 PM EDT, 05/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A) owned 25.9 million shares of insurer Chubb ( CB ) valued at $6.72 billion, according to a regulatory filing released Wednesday.

The company had been buying stock of a company for three consecutive quarters without disclosing the name under a confidential treatment that would expire May 31. But, Berkshire reported the holdings in a modified March 31 13F filing.

Chubb ( CB ) shares were up 6% in after-hours activity.
