Berkshire Hathaway's PacifiCorp to Pay $178 Million to Settle 403 Fire Claims

08:59 AM EDT, 06/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Berkshire Hathaway's (BRK.A) PacifiCorp said Monday it agreed to pay $178 million to settle 403 more claims related to the Labor Day fires in 2020.

The utility said it has now settled almost 1,500 wildfire claims with people and businesses in California and Oregon and "will continue to settle all reasonable claims."
