11:32 AM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Berry Global ( BERY ) and Glatfelter ( GLT ) said Wednesday they have created a new brand amid the planned merger of Berry's Health, Hygiene and Specialties Global Nonwovens and Films segment with Glatfelter ( GLT ).

The Magnera brand will provide products for the specialty materials sector, the companies said.

Magnera will use a platform of 46 global plants, the companies said, and be led by Curt Begle, the president of Berry's Health Hygiene and Specialties business.
