Berry Global Group Subsidiary Prices Upsized $800 Million Private Offering of 2031 Notes

04:20 AM EDT, 10/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Berry Global Group ( BERY ) and Glatfelter Corp. ( GLT ) said late Thursday that Treasure Escrow, a subsidiary of Berry Global ( BERY ), priced and upsized its offering of senior secured notes due Nov. 15, 2031.

The offering of 7.25% senior secured notes was upsized by $300 million to $800 million.

The proceeds, together with the funds from a term loan financing in connection with the merger of Berry's Health, Hygiene and Specialties Global Nonwovens and Films business with Glatfelter ( GLT ), will be used to fund the cash distribution to Berry Global Inc. in connection with the merger.

Proceeds will also be used to repay certain of Glatfelter's ( GLT ) debt, according to the company.

The closing of the Treasure Escrow private offering will likely be on or about Oct. 25.
