08:08 AM EDT, 08/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Best Buy's ( BBY ) sales in the near term will likely be boosted by holiday demand for the Nintendo Switch 2 console and a strong game release scheduled in H2, but higher prices could impact discretionary demand, Webush analysts wrote in a note Friday.
Best Buy ( BBY ) is scheduled to report its fiscal Q2 results on Aug. 28.
For fiscal Q2, Webush said it expects an upside to the company's sales, driven by strong demand for Switch 2 and personal computers, which will likely be partially offset by weaker demand for appliances.
The brokerage expects the company to post fiscal Q2 non-GAAP earnings of $1.20 per share. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $1.21. Best Buy ( BBY ) posted $1.34 a year earlier.
Wedbush analysts expect the company to reaffirm its fiscal 2026 adjusted earnings guidance of $6.15 to $6.30 per diluted share in its earnings report.
The brokerage retained a neutral rating on the stock and a $70 12-month price target.
