01:41 PM EDT, 05/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- BeWhere Holdings ( BEWFF ) , down 6% on last look, on Wednesday said its first quarter profit and revenue both rose.
The mobile internet-of-things company said its profit rose 49% to $312,679, from $210,379 for the same period last year.
Revenue rose 20% to $4.2 million over the same period, the company said.
"We are pleased with how the company navigated the impact of U.S.- Canadian trade issues during the first quarter of 2025. Despite trade issues causing some short-term delays in orders, the company still managed to grow revenue by 20%, increased net income by 49% and improved the cash position to an all-time high of $5.76M, of which $1.5M was contributed by operating activities in the first quarter," said Chief Executive Owen Moore.
The company's shares were last seen down $0.05 to $0.77 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
