10:47 AM EDT, 08/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Beyond Meat ( BYND ) on Friday refuted reports that it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, calling the claims "unequivocally false" in a post on social media platform X.

"We have not filed, nor are we planning to file, for bankruptcy," the company stated on X.

The denial followed media speculation on a possible bankruptcy filing.

Beyond Meat ( BYND ) shares were down 4.8% in recent trading Friday.
