Bharat Road Network says reference to NCLT by Religare is not a huge concern for us
Sep 11, 2018 6:14 AM

Bharat Road Network (BRNL), the road and highways BOT company, on Tuesday said that reference to National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) by Religare Finvest is not a huge concern for the company.

The company is in focus after it was being referred to NCLT for liquidation by creditor 10 months after the listing.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Bajrang Kumar Choudhary, managing director, said, "We are doing well in terms of traffic growth and in terms of the revenue that we see for the company. So, this small piece of NCLT issue, which has come up, I am sure we will be able to resolve it.”

"In next couple of months, we should be able to resolve this issue,” Choudhary said.

On Odisha expressway front, Choudhary said, "We had asked for Rs 800 crore. National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is not willing to pay. We have moved for arbitration and we do expect the decision to come in our favour.”
