Big Deal: Experts discuss M&A trends in financial services sector

The financial services sector has been active on the deal street and there has been a movement of around $20 billion in this sector by way of fundraising of different types this year and the sector is hungry for more.

DBS India's rescue plan for Lakshmi Vilas Bank and the buzz of Kotak Mahindra taking over IndusInd Bank shows that there is a lot of M&A action in this space.
