BigBear.ai Wins Federal Aviation Administration $2.4 Billion IT Award; Shares Surge

05:28 PM EDT, 08/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- BigBear.ai ( BBAI ) said Tuesday it received an award from the Federal Aviation Administration as a subcontractor to Concept Solutions to provide information technology.

The award is part of a $2.4 billion shared ceiling contract over ten years, according to BigBear. The Federal Aviation Administration granted 14 companies awards under their program.

Shares of the company surged 26.3% in recent trading.
