Binny Bansal may move to Singapore, says report
Mar 18, 2019 2:26 AM

After his exit from India's biggest e-tailer Flipkart, co-founder Binny Bansal may now shift to Singapore, Business Standard reported, citing multiple people in the know. Since his exit from Flipkart last year after the domestic online retailer was taken over by US retail giant Walmart, Bansal has invested in insurance platform Acko, venture capital firm 021 Capital and floated a new startup xtox10 Technologies, the report said.

Bansal's move to Singapore is not immediately clear, sources told the newspaper, adding that he would have a bird's eye view of the latest technologies and startups and more intimate access to investors as well as financial markets from Singapore. Singapore is the de facto financial hub for Southeast Asia.

Bansal along with a former colleague from Flipkart, Saikiran Krishnamurthy, in December launched his second startup, xto10x Technologies which helps early-stage startups build capabilities across functions like strategy, human resources management, growth and finance, the report added.
