07:33 AM EDT, 09/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bioceres Crop Solutions ( BIOX ) said Tuesday it has entered a strategic collaboration with the Colorado Wheat Research Foundation, or CWRF, to develop and commercialize HB4 wheat in the US.

Under the agreement, CWRF will receive exclusive, sublicensable rights to the HB4 trait in the US and will act as Trait Manager, providing access for third-party breeding programs and commercial channels as well as leading stakeholder engagement.

Bioceres and CWRF will also work on developing and registering new herbicide formulations tailored for HB4 wheat.

Bioceres will lead regulatory activities, including export approvals, tolerance thresholds, and trait stewardship.

The HB4 trait will be available to public and private breeding programs in the country through an open licensing model.
