Biomea Fusion Launches Public Offering of Securities; Shares Fall After Hours

05:06 PM EDT, 06/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Biomea Fusion ( BMEA ) said Tuesday it has started an underwritten public offering of shares and warrants.

The company said it will give the underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 15% of the shares and pre-funded warrants.

The planned offering is subject to market conditions and there's no assurance as to whether or when it may be completed, or as to its size or terms, Biomea said.

The offering is expected to close on or about Friday, the company said.

The company's shares were falling 26% in recent after-hours trading.
