07:38 AM EDT, 07/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bio-Techne ( TECH ) said Tuesday it is collaborating with Spear Bio to distribute the latter's immunoassays, which enable the detection of low-abundance biomarkers in neurology.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the deal, Bio-Techne ( TECH ) will distribute Spear Bio's immunoassays to detect low-abundance biomarkers, including key Alzheimer's disease biomarkers, the company said.

The partnership follows Bio-Techne's ( TECH ) participation in Spear Bio's $45 million series A funding round in 2024, the company said.

Bio-Techne ( TECH ) shares were up 1.7% in recent premarket activity.
