05:07 PM EDT, 06/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Bit Digital ( BTBT ) said late Wednesday its May bitcoin production fell 47% from the previous month to 63.3 bitcoins.

The drop was mainly due to the "reduction of bitcoin block rewards following the April halving event," the company said.

Bit Digital ( BTBT ) also said it had treasury holdings of 1,038.4 bitcoins valued at about $70.1 million as of May 31.
