Bitcoin Surges Following Trump Assassination Attempt

06:20 AM EDT, 07/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Bitcoin rose to a two-week high of around $62,780 on Monday.

Traders are speculating that the attempted assassination on cryptocurrency-friendly US presidential candidate Donald Trump raised the prospects for his election in November.

Trump is scheduled to be among the speakers at the July 27 Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville.
