08:39 AM EDT, 09/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Bitdeer Technologies Group ( BTDR ) shares were higher premarket Thursday after the company said it has successfully tested its latest Bitcoin mining chip, Seal02.

The company said that Seal02 uses process nodes created in partnership with chipmaker Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ( TSM ) and has "exceptional" power efficiency.

The company said it will integrate Seal02 into its Sealminer A2 mining machines, with production scheduled to begin in November. The company added that it is continuing to develop the Seal03 chip.
