Bitfarms Announces Special Shareholder Meeting

08:18 AM EDT, 07/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Bitfarms ( BITF ) said Friday that its board has called a hybrid special shareholders meeting on Oct. 29, following a requisition submitted by Riot Platforms ( RIOT ) .

Bitfarms ( BITF ) said the meeting aims to address Riot's effort to acquire the vertically integrated bitcoin data center company.

Shareholders of record Sept. 26, will be eligible to vote at the meeting, Bitfarms ( BITF ) said.
