09:35 AM EDT, 05/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Bitfarms ( BITF ) said Tuesday that an amendment to the existing 100 MW power purchase agreement with Paraguay state-owned utility ANDE doubles the capacity at its Yguazu site to 200 MW, with scheduled deployment for next year.

Construction at the site started in March, but changes to construction plans and equipment orders are ongoing to accommodate the additional 100 MW of hydropower, Bitfarms ( BITF ) said.
