The company said it produced 5 bitcoins daily on average in May, equivalent to about $340,000 per day based on the cryptocurrency's price of $67,300 on May 31.

Bitfarms ( BITF ) said it has produced 1,368 bitcoins year-to-date, compared to 2,135 in the same period a year ago .

The company's shares were up by nearly 3% in recent trading.
