Bitmine Shares Rise Pre-Bell After Peter Thiel's Founders Fund Acquires 9.1% Stake

09:02 AM EDT, 07/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bitmine Immersion Technologies ( BMNR ) shares were up 18% in recent Wednesday premarket activity after Founders Fund acquired about 5 million shares of the bitcoin miner.

The shares were acquired by Founders Fund and entities controlled by co-founder Peter Thiel, according to a Tuesday regulatory filing.

Founders Fund now holds a 9.1% stake in the bitcoin miner, according to the filing.
