04:42 PM EDT, 09/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- BKV (BKV) said late Monday it closed the acquisition of equity interests in Bedrock Production, including Bedrock Energy Partners' Barnett Shale assets, for about $370 million.

The deal adds 97,000 net acres, 108 million cubic feet equivalent per day of production, and midstream infrastructure in the Barnett Shale, the company said.

BKV said the acquisition also provides nearly 50 new drill locations with equivalent 10,000-foot lateral lengths and 80 low-cost refrac opportunities, enhancing future development potential.
