12:34 PM EDT, 09/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- BKV Corporation ( BKV ) shares debuted on the New York Stock Exchange Thursday with an opening price of $18.55, above the initial public offering price of $18 per share.

The shares were recently changing hands at $18.52 apiece, up almost 3% from the IPO price.

The energy company is offering 15 million shares in the IPO and has granted its underwriters, including Citigroup and Barclays, an option to buy an additional 2.25 million shares. It expects to close the offering Friday.
