07:37 AM EDT, 07/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- BKV (BKV) announced Monday an expanded partnership with a diversified midstream energy company to develop a new carbon capture and sequestration project at a natural gas processing plant in East Texas.

The new project is expected to be operational in early 2027, BKV said.

BKV forecasts that about 70,000 metric tons per year of carbon dioxide waste stream could be captured at the plant.
