Black Diamond Q4 Profit Falls 18% Despite Revenue Increase
Mar 11, 2026 5:49 AM

05:19 PM EST, 02/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Black Diamond Group ( BDIMF ) after the market close on Thursday reported a 18% drop in fourth quarter profit despite a jump in revenues.

The company which operates work camps and rentals in Canada, United States and Australia, said it earned a profit of $7.6 million, or $0.11 per share, in the quarter, down from $9.3 million, or $0.16, in the year-prior quarter.

Revenue rose 9% to $144 million from $132.7 million a year earlier.

Subsequent to the end of the quarter, the company declared a first-quarter dividend of $0.045 per share payable on or about April 15 to shareholders of record on March 31.

"This foundation supports momentum entering 2026 with steady operating conditions and supportive macro tailwinds anticipated in core end-market verticals across North America and Australia. Correlating stable demand is expected across the platform in the first half of the year," it added.

The company said its focus remains on growing high margin, recurring rental revenue, coupled with a broad menu of complementary products and services, while reinvesting generated free cash flow to scale the business and further compound shareholder returns.

The company's shares closed up $0.51 to $18.19 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
