11:26 AM EDT, 07/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Blackline Safety ( BLKLF ) on Tuesday named Elisa Khuong as interim chief financial officer, effective July 1.

Khuong, currently serving the technology company as vice president of accounting and finance, and corporate controller, replaces Shane Grennan. The company said in April Grennan would depart on June 30 to pursue other opportunities.

"The external search for our permanent CFO is going well and we expect to announce the new CFO in the near future," chief executive Cody Slater said in a release.

The company's shares were last seen up $0.09 to $4.44 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
