BlackRock Chief Executive Officer Laurence Fink Gets Lower Compensation in 2023

07:24 AM EDT, 04/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- BlackRock ( BLK ) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Laurence Fink received a total compensation of about $26.9 million in 2023, a decline from $32.7 million in 2022, according to a Thursday filing from the company.

President Robert Kapito's total 2023 compensation also fell to $19.5 million from $24.9 million a year earlier, the filing showed.

In the same filing, the company said it awarded $8.5 million in performance-based options each to Chief Operating Officer Robert Goldstein and Senior Managing Director Mark Wiedman in 2023.

Meanwhile, Chief Financial Officer Martin Small received $6.5 million in performance-based options while Vice Chairman Gary Shedlin received about $2 million in the same year.
