11:04 AM EST, 03/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- BlackRock ( BLK ) said Friday it has agreed to buy the remaining equity interest in SpiderRock Advisors, an asset management firm in Chicago offering tailored option overlay strategies.

The company intends to close the deal in Q2, BlackRock ( BLK ) added. The financial impact of the transaction will not impact the company's earnings.

Financial terms of the transaction weren't disclosed.
