08:29 AM EDT, 07/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- BlackRock ( BLK ) and its investor group are in talks with CK Hutchison to bring a major strategic investor from China into their planned acquisition of the company's ports business, CK Hutchison said Monday.

"The Group remains in discussions with members of the consortium with a view to inviting major strategic investor from the PRC to join as a significant member of the consortium," CK Hutchison said in a regulatory filing.

Any changes to the consortium or transaction structure will be subject to regulatory approval, the company said.

BlackRock ( BLK ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
