BlackSky Technology Wins $24 Million Air Force Research Laboratory Contract

11:24 AM EDT, 03/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- BlackSky Technology ( BKSY ) said Wednesday it secured a $24 million Air Force Research Laboratory contract to develop and show moving-target engagement services.

The company said an initial $3.5 million was obligated at the time of the contract's awarding.

BlackSky ( BKSY ) said it will use company and third-party data to show how various artificial intelligence and machine-learning techniques impact tasking, automatic tipping-and-cueing, direct downlink and moving target engagement processing timelines within an exercise environment.
