Blackstone affiliate buys 9.99% stake in India's Federal Bank

Oct 24 (Reuters) - An affiliate of U.S. private equity

major Blackstone has bought a 9.99% stake in India's

Federal Bank via preferential equity shares

and warrants for 61.97 billion rupees ($705.05 million), the

Indian lender said on Friday.

($1 = 87.8950 Indian rupees)
