Blackstone, AmTrust International Receive EU Approval for AmTrust's Managing General Agent Acquisition

08:15 AM EST, 11/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Blackstone (BX) and AmTrust International proposed acquisition of AmTrust's Managing General Agent and fee business has received the European Commission's approval, the regulator said Wednesday.

The acquisition would not cause "competition concerns" as the parties are not active in the same or vertically related sectors, the regulator said.
