Blackstone Competes Acquisition of Apartment Income REIT for $10 Billion

11:39 AM EDT, 06/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Blackstone (BX) and Apartment Income REIT said Friday that Blackstone Real Estate Partners X has completed the acquisition of Apartment Income REIT.

The deal, for $39.12 per share in cash, was valued at about $10 billion, including the assumption of debt, the companies said.

Blackstone shares were 0.7% higher in recent trading.
