Blackstone Completes $1.6 Billion Acquisition of Shermco From Gryphon Investors

10:12 AM EDT, 10/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Blackstone (BX), through its affiliated private equity funds, completed the $1.6 billion acquisition of Shermco from Gryphon Investors.

Shermco provides electrical testing, maintenance, and repair services to utility, industrial, and energy clients across North America, Gryphon said Monday in a statement.
